We love a good Tiki cocktail. But decent pineapple juice is hard to come by, and sometimes those fruity drinks are a dead giveaway for a bad hangover. So we set out to craft a funkadelic tropical shrub that could substitute for pineapple juice and other syrups or liqueurs in our favorite Tiki drinks. 

We added fresh turmeric root to balance the bright acidity of pineapple, as well as organic ginger root to provide structure and spice. When you factor in the organic apple cider vinegar base, this ends up being a pretty damn healthy choice in a traditionally unhealthy family of cocktails. You're welcome.

Although initially designed with rum in mind, we love using this shrub in gin, tequila, and whiskey cocktails. The color is incredible. We call it "natural neon."

HOW TO USE IT:
Cocktails: 1/2 oz - 3/4 oz shrub
Sodas: 1 oz shrub per 6 oz soda wate

INGREDIENTS:
pineapples, organic cane sugar, organic apple cider vinegar, organic fresh ginger root, fresh turmeric root, sea salt.
